I know no French, but based on context and it being a romance language it ends up like this:
The spirit of the artifact asks Suho to choose which of them will die. She says she won't sacrifice her friends and offers herself up as the sacrifice instead. Everyone goes back to normal and Kohaku continues to research the artifact and figure out where Suho disappeared to.

In the earlier chapters it was basically brainwashing them. The old man started believing he was always a woman and the young girl Yoshimi started believing she was Yoshi (male) and it seems the psychological changes of the original mind were having physical changes to their original bodies.
