This is the true form of Tanya. The insane anime form is nice, and so is the lesbian super nazi from this one fanfiction. However, he is utmost a man, now a girl, willing to do anything for a safe and peaceful life. Embrace spiritual homosexuality, embrace your female form and mind!

This may be an unpopular opinion but the "spiritual homosexuality" gag was low hanging fruit and I doubt that Tanya would have been concerned with being socially acceptable given the situation of being reincarnated into a little girl and all.

I have mixed feelings about this Youjo Senki doujin. While it is clear that the author is familiar with the source material and their efforts to handle the plot in a way that would be true to the original are admirable I feel that they fell short of the mark. Like many sexual doujin this one has the feel of the characters personalities and judgments compromised in order to railroad them into the desired plot. However this doujin does not have the goal of an unreasonable sexual encounter to excuse this. That said this situation does follow the theme of Tanya digging a hole for herself unintentionally through being both brilliant and oblivious to the consequences of her suggestions at the same time. I was very confused as to why some of the characters reacted as they did however.

The art is hastily done with little effort put into it. Though you can see some inherent skill in it. I wish the artist had spent more time and effort on this both in art and plot.

In general I liked this doujin. It has a good premise but suffers greatly from lack of effort. If the plot and dialogue had been given a second look over to make more sense and be more true to the characters, and I the art had been fully fleshed out rather than being little more than sketches, this doujin would have been glorious. Sadly it is not.

First read this back in May of 2018 and stumbled onto it again half a year later. I remembered it as interesting so I reread it. I still stand true to my original impressions but I feel like I may have judged it harshly, having just seen the series. I enjoyed the plot and only wish that the art were more than doodles, this could be so good. Please stop downvoting this comment. I'm just giving my carefully considered opinion in hopes others will have an idea of what to expect. I'm not even saying this is bad. I am saying that an interesting story could be made so much better if the art were the quality to match it. Revised score from my most recent impressions.

Could easily render the whole manga null and void with simple logic. If Tanya wants to live long and easily, rather than the military she could’ve become: a chef. Or stayed at the nunnery to become a Sister. Become a doctor. Becom a nurse. Become a politician. Become a housewife. Become a teacher. Exiled herself to a neutral non-combatant country.
In fact, become basically anything other than a member of the military. Joining the military in a country at war was probably the single worst occupation she could’ve chosen.

There was going to be a draft. Either join the military of your own free will as an officer or be drafted. With her magic, she was definitely going to be drafted because of mage shortages, so this was actually the single best occupation she could've chosen.
