@Furioni: Well, most political statements are ones that go to an extreme to make a point. Think of the novel "1984". That insane, extreme dystopia wasn't one that existed in the world, nor was it going to in Orwell's immediate future. But it was made to say to people "If we aren't careful, something like this could happen for our children, or our children's children."

Now obviously, the literal avatars of lady liberty and lady justice aren't going to be attacked by pig monsters, but the metaphorical message that Mongo is trying to get across is obvious to most: "The things we value are being violated by the people who hold authority". (Of course whether or not you agree with that statement is another thing entirely.)
