This is a piece of history! Cosmic Fantasy 1 and 2 were pioneering RPG's that were the first 2 mainstream games that had Fanservice CG scenes in a non-H game. The twintailed girl (Saya) is the heroine of Cosmic Fantasy 1 and was the first example of a fanservice image in a mainstream game when she was featured in a bathing scene in a lake.

Cosmic Fantasy 2 was localized in English and the heroine Rimu (translated as Babette in the English version) had a shower scene which was censored by steam, which is removed in the edits of those pictures in this gallery. Cosmic Fantasy 2 won EGM's best RPG game of the year in their 1993 buyer's guide, and "Babette" was featured in EGM's Top 10 Video Game Babes in EGM issue 43. She was #5. Dragon Knight 2's "Prisoner" was #2 on that list.
