You ever wonder how things would be different if Asuka met Kaworu instead of Shinji? Well I've thought about it and reached the conclusion that third impact would never have happened because Asuka would've totally killed herself because Kaji and Kaworu die at around the same time (and there's already much debate as to whether or not she slit her wrists in that tub or not after hearing about Kaji, or had just given up on life).
