A friend of mine who works as a counselor shared this a while ago on social media. It really resonated with her, and this is one of the techniques counselors are trained on. Putting that therapy technique into the context of these three popular cartoon shows and how the kids came out was brilliant, as it makes the characters instantly relatable to readers, providing them with an immense backstory that makes--and adds--so much in context. This comic is all kinds of brilliant.
An odd place to find this comic, but the content is not unwelcome. It puts a lot of the content in these animated sitcoms into perspective, and highlights one of the reasons why I hate Family Guy so very much. All in all, it's a great piece of pop culture art.
