And with that, the only remaining hook for this falls away. Can people please stop trying to make proper stories combined with fetish content? They never mesh well, and only ever detract from one another.. The ones who come for the story are put off by the fetish stuff, and the ones who come for the fetish stuff don't usually care for the story. (Plus it might not even be what they're into in the first place) If it can be done well, I have not found it. So if you want to tell a story, then good, go do it. If you want to create some fetish smut, then that's fine too, Make whatever floats your boat, right? But PLEASE just make one or the other, and not force them into the same thing...

Well Copperheart, I came for fetish and story, but then they decided to go all "Murder, cooking, cannibalism".

I spoke to the artist back when I supported them on Patreon, before the dark turn, and asked like "Hey, is going to become about hard/soft vore or something bad?", and they beat around the bush, saying things like "Well, the way I see it is vore is eating someone whole/alive", or something along those lines.

That instantly lost them their $1 a month from me.

(Yes this is the author of IHHAT) First off, "vore" has a different definition than what has been shown in the comic so to answer "is there vore in the comic?" the answer would be "no".

Second off, why would I spoil an ongoing comic? The whole point is for you to experience the comic as it goes along and make your own judgement on whether or not you can handle what's going on and either stick around and find out how it ends or tap out early. The comic is called "If Hell Had a Taste" not "If Sugar Had Rainbows" (though I could always make some weird parody with that), from chapter 1 there was already dark elements drifting in and out of scenes so it was only a matter of time before anything major happened.

People still take the time to read the comic while seemingly not liking it so I see that as a good thing. I don't mind the critiques of the comic, I'm fully aware of the ups and downs of the story so far. I think some are too hung up on needing certain actions to require justification without considering that the reasoning behind them are very simple and basic instead of needing some moral lesson.

IHHAT isn't the only comic I do so there may be something else you might be interested in. If you can't handle what's going on then feel free to read some other more lighthearted story if that's more your thing.

@foxclaw Absolutely loving your comic, especially the sexy moments, but I do enjoy plenty of the story stuff as well. Not enough people draw big girls, especially in furry comics.

Some may appear in future IHHAT stories though their importance may vary such as the mantis in IHHAT Vol. 1 being a main character in Vol. 2. After working on volume 1, the characters that have to do with the Black Circus website now will have their own comic series of the same name.
