I never like putting down Negative comments, But for some reason the whole comic makes me very sad this so fare isn't something sexual it's kept innocent and I think that is what makes it all the more disheartening this boy is kept an infant by his father and it's nothing sexual looking deep into this I feel like the father has some kind of mental Illness keeping him from letting his son grow up it's less to do with what the son wants to do and more to do with how the father wants his son to be given how he treats his sons friend. I'm not intending to piss in anyone's cereal but it's something I had to put out here just to make myself feel more sane.

the fact that this is played so straight and innocently by everyone involved and the writing and presentation being actually decent just gives it such a creepy fucking overtone. like, given by how the characters are acting you would think there would be some kind of stigma or otherwise realistic response to what's going on here.

part of me wants this to continue to see how unsupportive parties would react to this. played straight and not for fetish this could be a really interesting social commentary on how [sexual] depravity affects modern-day culture and mental stability, with families and friendships falling apart over how the characters want to live out their lives, being supported both mentally and financially by benefactors facing even worse stigma for even thinking of approving of it, soceital norms forcing a rift between otherwise peaceloving and kind people because what they want to be is "wrong" by everyone else's precomposed standards.

or it could be set in a world where such mindsets have already become the common majority and people are largely accepting of this sort of behavior, and things continue to get out of hand until one or both of the main characters just degrade into babbling toddlers, mental state reduced to mush willingly by all involved, turning it into more of horror story than anything; the characters' psyches (or whatever's left of them) banging on the walls of the crib prison they put themselves in, too weak and maybe unwilling to go back to reality.

or, as people focus less and less on their socieital success and responsibilities, the sapient-driven processes that keep the modern world spinning are slowly left unmanned as more and more people decide to fully commit to their personal desires and interests and leave the entire world—spare a few remaining groups of nay-sayers—completely devoid of any rational thought not devoted to their own vices and obsessions, letting civilizations fall just to sate some chemical reaction over and over again, leaving the final remnants of all creation fighting a losing battle to keep any kind of moral integrity as everything crumbles around them.

and finally, in the penultimate climax, the mentally degraded masses willingly allow themselves to be harvested by the now super intelligent remnants and have their brains put in jars and hooked up to a big virtual reality system, allowing them to live out their fantasies for all eternity with their friends as their subconcious is used to compute intense mathematical theorum and formulae used to further the remnant's dreams of creating an idealized society resembling their own lost cities and cultures, with the sole exception that all involved are stripped of their freedoms and forced to block out any and all recreational mindthink, creating the perfect utopia where every cog has it's place and everyone is the overseer's definition of normal as appears on page 127 of the Official Overseer Guide to A Happy and Productive Citizen: Ending Illegal Mindthink.

but, in the mists of the decrepid outlands where non-indoctrinated mindthinkers live, one soldier under the overseer's eternal will finds a diaper in the rubble and discovers what it really means to be alive and stops taking his regulatory mindthink suppressors, only to find that his family had been doing so for years already in an attempt to also escape the hell that they live in; this spurs the soldier to start a long revolution against the regime that owns them, that ends in a badass katana duel with the overseer that leads to the latter's defeat and death, the world once again returned to the hands of the desensitized masses. happiness is felt across the nation for the first time in ages.
