I tried translating another manga by Kumano Tooru.

A Christmas cake for Christmas.

Note about the title: it's another pun, as you'd expect. And it doesn't translate directly to English, as always. "Okashi na" is an adjective meaning "odd", "strange", "funny" and whatnot, but it also has the word for "candy" in it, "okashi". I used "sweet" for the English title since the story's cute and all, and you know, "sweets".

If I had to guess, it's probably because someone just saw her with the kids on the first page, and assumed they were hers. Especially since she does kind of give off some mother-like vibes with her appearance there.
