I actually commissioned this translation nearly two years ago, but I didn't know the least tacky way to edit a full color book where all of the text is outside of a bubble. Still don't. I really should've made the white squares less transparent...

The translation itself could be pretty confusing, so I had to reword a lot of sentences to make more sense and be less redundant and corrected the spelling of a few words. I tried to stay as close as possible to what the translation appeared to be saying. I've provided the original translation for comparison's sake.

Strangely, she didn't fully translate the front cover nor provide any translation for the back cover, so those pages remain unaltered. Shame on me for not bothering to fully read the files until recently.

Not related to the quality of the translation, but in retrospect, I kinda feel bad for requesting a woman to translate a book like this. On the other hand, her translation has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of this book.

Any criticism of my editing, my interpretation of the translation, or the translation itself is welcome. Judging by the number of voters and the incredibly low score, I'd imagine that even fans of the book took issue with it. I don't say this to whine, I'd just like to make it more possible for fellow fans of these works to enjoy them more.

I'm a big fan of stigaya comics on here and I've never seen one translated til now. My only criticism is that the color choices and sizes for the fonts were too vivid and small, making it hard to read. Great job.

@ if21 Thanks! Yeah, I was starting to regret a lot of my choices by the end of it, the biggest regret being not making the white squares more opaque so the text would be more readable. I was trying to prevent the text from blocking the art as much as I could, but I guess I took that mentality too far. I also forgot the E-hentai shrinks the pages by a ridiculous degree. The originals are much larger.

If this appears to be the thing most users are taking a huge issue with (Right now, it seems like it could be several things, including the content itself), then I may be willing to go back and re-edit it since the most time consuming part was trying to make sense of the translation. I mean, unless someone more competent wants to give it a shot.

I understand why you chose to do the text the way you did, but I think you should have compromised fidelity for readability. It really is a chore to read this.

Not only is the original text behind the transparent blocks distracting, the colour choices for the English text aren't ideal. If you want to keep the text coloured, I'd suggest a base colour with medium sized white border and a very thin black border around that.

Even a second solid white border around the text may have made it less taxing on the eyes.
