The story was actually pretty funny. But somehow it lacks a certain impact, i don't know what.

I'd say Rikuguo's the single funniest Madoka parody artist, but most of it comes from nuance. And that doesn't survive direct translations.

His main joke is making the characters and their reactions sound tonally off-kilter, playing with or botching the original anime lines out of nowhere. With that lessened, it's a little plain.
