I really don't think we have to worry to much about that, if the publisher wanted to be angry they would have done so when he began drawing on enty (the Maken-ki art). I'm sure he is fully aware of any consequences that might or might not come when he started doing that. I mean it's not like he was doing that for a few friends and that came out in the open, the drawings are in a public platform for anyone to download if they sign up.
