So many Miko doujins lately. What could explain this sudden jump in popularity?

It has more to do with the artist than the character. Our group often does a bunch of doujin in a row from one artist before picking another. Recently we've been doing Makuwauni doujins because they are good quality, there are a lot of them and no one else seems to be doing them. Of the five doujin we've released in the last month that have Miko as a major character in it, 4 are from Makuwauni. Often artist like Makuwauni will pick one character they love and make all their books about them.

That's usually why it happens.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the information. I would make a request for your group to do a certain artist next, but it would probably be a little shameless as someone who isn't a contributor. So I'll just wait and enjoy the works as they come.

Who is Mokou trying to kid, saying her heart is already set on someone, but reacting all cutesy and not trying to burn Miko as she would with anyone else? Well, maybe it's just Miko's natural charm. Still surprised the subject of immortality didn't come up. Aren't Taoist immortals supposed to be immune to illnesses as well?
