I don’t get what about the recording on the phone makes Nick so mad, can someone who gets it explain it?

@Kitedtk: At some point during the hoedown after the slow dance, Nick got wasted at the bar and Judy stepped away. She left her phone at the bar and Nick decided to be a drunken idiot with it. Unfortunately the bartender (who is one of the fox assailants) overheard everything Nick blabbed into the phone which helped stage the attack on Judy later that night.

Most likely Judy's phone makes alert sounds when there's a new unread message, and since Nick woke up first he heard it and read it expecting an update from Silver. And that's when he saw all of the stupid video messages he made while drunk in her inbox, which immediately made him feel completely at fault for the attack on Judy.

EDIT: Looks like the artist picked this back up and is continually updating.
