Tsukino Jyogi is another artist who only goes after trends. Now netorare is trendy? lets focus on netorare. And its not only him. Lots of other good artists just shifted genres seeking easy sales.

From a business standpoint its legit, not gonna complain about it. They are pros and they do it for money. But from my standpoint as a reader i feel they lack character.

But hey Tsukino did great on ボクの弥生さん, it's a NTR story so I wouldn't say he's following the trend or what haha...

You only notice it now when it actually exploded a whole decade ago? I'm sorry but thats a bit late to realize.

Also, even thought NTR is easy money there's been several new artist who made it big in that genre but managed to grow into their own thing without relying on trends to remain relevant. NTR may never fade completely but outside of those who specialize in that genre it's not gonna be booming forever. The fact that new vanilla artist still get by indicates trends are merely fluctuating.
