Then were the raws for this done, I wonder. Knowing that the core Spice and Wolf series is over now, I cant help but wonder how the author would reflect on this doujinshi compared to the canonical end.

Well, looking at this and considering how Myuri (Holo and Lawrence cannonic daughter) looks like in the new Spice and Wolf novel series, I'd say DATE hit the nail in the head...
