We know he eventually does have a son with Washu, and there is no reason to believe he doesn't also have kids with Sasami and Tokimi eventually. These If doujins have just been about his first batch of kids.

hoigoigoi, this is a Kajishima Onsen book, as in Kajishima Masaki, the creator of Tenchi Muyo.
Since Geneon or whoever owns the license is stingy as fuck with one of their longest lasting properties, he regularly updates and adds to the world with his doujins.
This is the word of God himself as far as canon goes.

Kajishimi and Hiroki Hayashi both came up with Tenchi Muyo. Originally the story wasn't going to be like this at all. Fun fact, Hayashi said in an interview that the story was originally centered around Tenchi and Ryoko and the other girls were essentially there for plot balance. But when Kajishima and Hayashi argued about where it should go, Hayashi just handed it over. So since Kajishima has since has full story rights, what he says goes, but his doijin are sometimes exapanding on the story and other times a way the story could go.
Long explaination short, the - IF - series is just that- What if...? Like, this is how he sees the story progressing, but I wouldn't consider it set in stone or full canon unless it made it to the anime.
Personally I haven't been a fan of where Kajishima has taken the story since OVA 2, (the creator split happen in the middle of OVA 1 or after, I can't recall). I'm of the opinion the original story would have made for more solid story telling, but seeing how he imagines things panning out is intriguing. Thankfully Tenchi Universe and the movies stick more to the original idea :P
