In regards to the tagging, SA-X, being a literal clone of Samus Aran, more than likely isn’t a distinct enough character to earn a separate tag. It would probably be considered if SA-X specifically went viral such as Bowsette, earning a separate tag for “Super Crown Bowser” out of sheer popularity instead of the usual “Bowser” and “male:gender bender” protocol for rule 63’d characters.
But as is, the powers that be haven’t seen it fit to add a new tag.

no point in a separate tag for SA-X since she/it is just literally "Samus Aran - X". The only weird thing about the story is that SA-X was supposed to merge with Samus at the end of Fusion to help take down a mutual enemy, the Omega Metroid. In a way it was kind of the whole point with Fusion, as she merged with the virus in more ways than one, and became stronger because of it.

There are 10+ SA-X Samus clones. That's in the actual script of Fusion. You only absorb one. This story entirely works within canon, because Onomeshin's a crazy Metroid fan.

I, for one, didn't come for the sex or the lewdness of samus. But I saw SA-X on the cover and wanted to understand whatahell was that.
When I looked the escape shuttle with the BLS on its side, I knew what ride I was about to go.
So, I looked at it no as something sexual, but wanted to see the plot twist, or SA-X devouring the dude or some whicked shit (didn't read the tags).
Boy, there was a plot twist to my plot twist: SA-X "evolved" into an amazing woman, no more "bound" to the animalistic nature of the X Parasite.
Amazing, very good, commandable. I kinda wanted to see more, to know how would their life go on, and SA-X becoming more and more human, lovey dovey and becoming a doting housewife, with many beautiful hybrid X/Human children.

Hell, It would become a good gaiden for Metroid. One that a SA-X becomes human, integrates society, but the other SA-X that might've escaped start to wreak havoc, and she (SA-X lust) start to hunt/assimilate them down in order to protect her husband.
