2. YOU DON'T HAVE TO UPLOAD THE 1280s e-hentai USES FOR MOST GALLERIES !!!!!!!!!!!!! e-hentai CREATES THEM FOR YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. IF YOU UPLOAD A MIX OF 1280s AND HIGH RES ALTERNATIVES AND MAKE THE 1280s VISIBLE IN YOUR GALLERY NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE FULL RES PICS
BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PART OF YOUR GALLERY!

THERE IS NO POINT IN HAVING HIGH RESOLUTION RAWS IF YOU DON'T USE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the explanation. But it sounds like you didn't download the files here. You have do be carefull if you download from sites that farm e-hentai and compare it with the resolution of the RAW gallery on e-hentai. You can check the original resolution of uploaded pictures if you scroll down to the bottom of the page and take a look at the download original link. It contains the original resolution (e.g. 2100 x 3000) and the original filesize. (if the link is not there the picture on the sreen and the original are the same)
Are you really sure the pages you didn't edit are in 1280 on your harddrive? They shouldn't, because they are in full resolution avaible via the download original link at the bottom of the Page.
Uploading in higher resolutions is absolutely easy.
Step 1: Download your RAWs in full resolution. e-hentai has three possible methods for doing that: a.) torrent download (if avaible) but make sure that you're downloading the latest version and full res.
Downscaled torrents normaly have a 1280 in the name and are much smaller. b.) use the archive download link to download the original archive. This will coast you some GP or Credits.
c.) you can download each picture individualy by using the download original link at the bottom of each page.
Step 2: Edit your pages in full res and don't downscale them.
Step 3: Uploaded your pages in full resolution. If your pages are above 1280px horizontal res e-hentai will create a downscaled to 1280px horizontal version wich the sites will display on the screens
of the visitors unless they have a certain Hath perk. But the full res pics don't go to waste and every user can download them now if he wants like I explained above.

@jim2 I explain it once more the edited pages were all uploaded in the 1280 res as you can easy see if you check the "Download Original" link at the bottom of the pages. If you don't believe me see for yourself.
Select a random story page from this gallery and compare the res included in "Download Original" Link from this page with the same page from the RAWs: /g/1173746/6f426172bd/

And I don't have issues recently, I have them for quite sometime now, because a lot of *censored* insist on uploading downscaled 1280 resinstead of full res versions.

I didn't downscale anything. The pages I have on my hard drive are all 1280, including the ones I didn't edit. Only difference is those are jpgs instead of pngs. I'm not sure how they uploaded here at double size. I've only been translating for a couple months now so I hope you can forgive my mistakes. If you read the uploader's comments, his end is higher quality, but when uploaded, it changed to a different format

@jim2 I wouldn't say what I have is higher quality, but it is pngs that became jpgs here. I think Ancient-Alien is right that I just got some bad raws from a source that farmed e-hentai. I'll make sure to check my raws carefully on the next one. I still welcome help with image editing though. If you're not happy with the quality I'm providing, volunteer to help me provide higher quality. Be the change you want to see in the world and all that. I do everything from raw-getting to uploading all by newbie translator self as it is right now.
