A commissioned work. Story by myself (the commissioner) and artwork done by the excellent Platamatina/Plumbeo.
The comic takes place during the events of Project MCX: The Lakehouse, specifically in between the written Chapters 7 and 8 of the story and will directly lead into Chapter 9. Enjoy!

As a long time lurker here, this is my first time posting so bear with me :) I know that this has already been posted here by someone else earlier than I intended, but eventually posting was always the intention so here you all go. I used the larger size I've been posting for those who truly enjoy the series, and even added a bonus of Page 5 being released here slightly ahead of elsewhere. Enjoy!

Project MCX: The Lakehouse is the fourth story within the Project MCX world, for those confused where it stands. Recommended reading order is Mission -> Outbreak -> Kat & Mouse -> Lakehouse, although Lakehouse is currently ongoing and will be resumed once the final page of the comic is released.

I guess there's some deep lore behind this I'm missing. How come the Asian chick doesn't get digested like the rest? And what's with the scarab guy checking on them?

The comic takes place within a larger Project MCX story, the bulk of which are written chapters. A quick Google search can find them easily enough.
