Huh, I had thought that this card set was older than 50 years (according to wikipedia, created in 1962). It just has a 50s 'monster movie' feel to it.
Funny how this set includes a picture of the stick of gum ^_^

Hah! I just bought the book! But I certainly don't mind having a digital backup, so thank you! The pair of Wacky Packages volumes are wonderful as well; all the covers are the same waxy paper in which the cards were originally sold! Younger readers may not understand but if the books had somehow captured that scent of adhesive, gum and powdered sugar I probably would have keeled over dead from a nostalgiagasm.
