Well i usually do the lighting as the last thing on the scene.

I am not sure what you mean by running at real time but my computer run it pretty well without the lights.
with the lights it usually drops to 30FPS. i hope this was useful to your question

Yep, that's exactly what I meant - if you had to wait on each frame or not. 30fps is good for that kind of detail.
