Yes, there really is a lucrative market in Japan for these x-rated, plastic figurines of various characters from Anime and Games and whatnot.

They're actually very well made -in some cases they even properly emulate the drawing styles of various, "famous" hentai Artists (there's even at least one figurine in this set that looks like a Kamitou Masaki drawing!).
