the story does not deserve me waiving my scrutiny because its a work of fiction. i consumed the story and found that this kind of NTR falls into the same pit for me as does most NTR leaving only the narrative for me analyse. the story is dumb, cliche and features character that unreasonably submissive to the point that they would destroy their loved ones even though all they have to lose.... Personally, I enjoy the drama rather than the fap material of NTR. But, because of that, I tend to be very picky with the plot. Good or bad end, if the plot doesn't sit well, it kinda falls flat to me.

This also presents a dilemma.

A lot of what we call, Hentai Logic is actually the cultural differences between western and Japanese ideologies. We see a lot of things in these stories and go LOL, Hentai Logic at it's best!, not really trying to comprehend how these situations are looked at differently in the author's native country (Something I'm just as guilty of as anyone else). Because of that, what someone who's privy to the culture would see as a forgone conclusion, just looks ridiculous to someone outside of it.

Then, you have to factor time constraints. Some stories literally have to be fired out in a week to meet deadlines that publishers have set for them (Particularly oneshots). So rather than taking the plot in a different direction or adding more character development, an author falls back on more tried and true methods. Then again, some authors are just more gifted story tellers and can bang out a competent plot regardless of deadlines (Carn).

That being said, I'm already on the outs with this one. It's one thing when the MH tries to help their husband without them knowing about it (I sit back and wait as the plot thickens), but to just hand your wife over to your boss to cover YOUR OWN mistakes? How am I suppose to feel for this person at that point? He literally DESERVES every ounce of pain heading towards him. Even IF his boss deceived him somehow, he still WILLINGLY gave his wife away. This is KIND OF a cultural trope, but it's been emulated in other cultures (Including western ones) as well.

The only reason to read any NTR story in a language you understand is to get upset over it.
Let's face the reality, hentai authors just aren't gifted when it comes to storytelling. Most aren't even average but they usually draw themes that are really hot and interesting to fap to.
So instead of bothering reading panels and panels of bad cliche dialogue, I recommend everyone to just fap to it on another language and then read a good novel to satiate your intellectual needs.

@ Kochisui There are plenty of hentai artist that can also tell a good story. The problem is more generally how much story to add to porn without it distracting from the porn. A lot of artist understand that the story can be rather loose if the art is hot enough. Literally, people will bitch and moan all day about NTR, but they keep coming back because the art is hot.

I know I'm not saying anything new , but I feel like I still have to express displeasure in NTR for the same reasons many expresses so much defense and encouragement for NTR.

The set up always go one of four ways:
a.) there's a vacancy/distance (for X reason) between the one who will be NTR'd and the one who will be taken by NTR
b.) the sex or sex life is unfulfilling (for X reason) between the one who will be NTR'd and the one who will be taken by NTR
c.) the one who will be NTR'd or the one who will be taken by NTR has a debt to pay (usually to the NTRer)
d.) the one who will be taken by NTR had a past sexual encounter or relationship with the the NTRer of the story, thus their pure relationship was doomed from the start

After establishing why the NTR is occurring, a false promise of it being a temporary arrangement or a reprieve is given before a turning point occurs that goes one of four ways:
a.) the one who will be taken by NTR starts to accept and enjoy the situation they're now in, thus doesn't want it to end
b.) the one who is being NTR'd remains ignorant of the NTR, so their inaction/passivity in the story is taken as permission for the NTR to continue
c.) the one who is being NTR'd finds out about the NTR but is too weak or powerless (physically or emotionally) to change their circumstance
d.) another deal or bet is made to the one who is being NTR'd or the one being taken by NTR but it's (a)nother trap to keep the NTR going

And the ending is usually upsetting or depressing because it usually consists of:
a.) the one who is being NTR'd has lost their relationship and is left broken emotionally or mentally
b.) the one who is being NTR'd has kept their relationship, but is left broken as they continue to be NTR'd
c.) the one who is being NTR'd has kept their relationship, but remains unaware of the NTR with implications that they're still being NTR'd
d.) impregnation or implications of impregnation with further implications of either a.), b.) or c.) ensuing

NTR has overtaken a lot of hentai, doujin and adult webtoon/webnovel spaces. It has invaded other genres/tags that were either vanilla or uniquely appealing before. And it's not as easy as saying just turn your brain off because NTR IS the plot to these stories, so it has to always remind you of that. Just like how people thought NTR was so cool because vanilla was too boring, NTR has become boring and every artist has either started putting NTR in their stories, or converted into a full-on NTR artist. It's oversaturated with no signs of changing anything up. The sole exception I've found so far was Ienai Seishun Geki Hatsukoi Aite to no NTR Shisshin Sex by Aoyama Denchi. I like that artist's female character designs, the sex scenes and I like a few other elements in their art, but I hate the stories themselves because it's all NTR. But in that story, the heroine who NTR'd her husband at least realized her mistake and went back to being faithful to her husband, doubling down on how much she loves him and is repentant for what she did to him. It actually subverted the typical NTR ending and changed something up. Just like how NTR subverted vanilla, NTR needs to be subverted itself now.
