Are you sure you've been downloading the correct torrents? The torrents I loaded had the full res versions. And like mcCo already wrote torrents with 1280 res normaly have a -1280 in its name. To make sure if the torrent contains the full res version compare the gallery size with the torrent size. Full res torrents are about the same size as the gallery.
And there is still the Archive Download (Credits or GP required) to download the full res gallery.
