Q has been doing this like 20+ years and who knows if he was even that young when he started. He’s probably burnt out, and pushing 50 his interests may have changed, just paying lip service wasn’t enough to keep his passion in the project. But that’s just a wild guess.

I think this is the longest we've ever had to wait to get a Dulce Report English translation. Thanks! I guess this was a bit of a let down story wise and censorship wise. I'm still glad it finally came and I guess sort of had a happy ending.

The whole DR:II storyline was a mess. It started quite solid with Akane conspiring with Aries against Momoe to get rid of Aoi and Yukari, but all those subplots never really kicked off. What about Yuki and Midori's research into Yukari's nature? What about Ninomiya being a second Momoe? And what about those snails, a remnant of Q's short-lived "snail phase" that he had to carry with in his regular series years after he grew out of it. He decided to create a sequel to Dulce Report probably with only the ending clearly written in his head, and went on as it came by for the rest. Results, starting from the third episode DR:II is an endless stream of Yukari and Ninomiya being rapped by Sango, Himawari and this red-haired girl whose name I forgot, and you couldn't make a difference between a main series episode and a Phallic Girls one, which is really not a good sign.

But still, it seems that he's still not done with Aoi and Momoe, his next doujinshi seems to be back to good ol' vanilla sex between those two lovebirds (with Momoe back to her younger self?) :

Urgh...just...urgh.
Even the art is genuinely sketchy...like I wasnt particularly fond of the DR:II storyline in the first place with only the art staying a somewhat constant quality but even that is weak here :/
I completely understand being burned out on a series but man comeon,draw out all the stops for the last chapter,thats a big part of what people are gonna remember your work by.
How any editor has given the green light for this is beyond me.
Oh well,guess there is always the hope for a epilogue/rework.

This series just devolved into "How can we make a situation where Momoe and Aoi/Yukari have sex" That's seriously it. They got way overused and it made it become soooooo boring. To the point where If i asked in any given chapter "So when do Aoi and momoe have sex" that i would be dead on pretty much everytime. So everyone else being "vaporized" except for them? Yah. pretty much what it was in a figurative sense anyway. Now it's in a literal sense. nothing changed. : / Even the newer one is just them fucking again >_>
