The reason your gallery was fjorded was because of the shota tag. I think there is a current problem of people just throwing the loli/shota tag on anything with a young character in it even without any explicit content which removes the whole purpose of the fjords.
@givemestems1 This entire site is full of pirated doujinshi and manga. Patreon rewards are the least of concerns anyone should be having. From my own experience and observation, how well an artist does is directly linked to their exposure and engagement in the community and not about how much of their content is behind a wall. Some of the biggest artists release all their non doujin for free either as simply a slightly lower resolution or after a small time delay, if any. The ones that completely isolate themselves and stop submitting their art to pixiv and Twitter are the ones that I see wither and decline because people forget they exist and they become overshadowed by other artists. Some artists I once followed and forgot about I later rediscovered after seeing a new piece of art and tracing it back to a patronage site containing all their recent works where they hadn't uploaded anything publicly in up to a year. I don't think this is how you become successful.
Obviously, the topic of impact that piracy has is very controversial and opinionated but that's how I see it. After I uploaded a couple of doujin from Mushi last year his patreon spiked almost 30 new supporters in the following two months(about 90 to 120). People can't support an artist if they don't know they exist and especially if they are a foreigner outside of the domestic industry the only way they can find out about the artist is to stumble across their works.
