Jeane is one of my foremost favorite recurring characters of the Suikoden series.

Besides being a consistent character throughout the CENTURIES that spans the Suikoden series' storylines, it is hinted across the series that Jeane's apparent eternal youth, empowered from her Charm (True) Rune, was something that she neither she sought nor desired. Yet despite that, she continues to bear the Charm (True) Rune, because she would never inflict the heavy burden of carrying a True Rune upon anyone else. That kind of character-defining tragedy, and spiritual strength, are major factors that keeps Jeane consistently interesting.

That, and probably her also being regularly dressed in something skimpy &/or slinky. ;)
