The phone call can be interpreted as on-going on page 15.

However, the only truly concrete thing against her is her stuttering when receiving the call to go back to the lab. Everything else she says, it's with a normal and casual tone. It could be that if phone was on while Tsugaru and Fuji were going at it, that Chiaki decided to cheat as well and that's were the "hickey" came from.

On a scale, the one most at fault here is Fuji for jumping to conclusions twice and ignoring the advice of Tsugaru. Unable to confront his soon-to-be wife, he abandons his relationship with Chiaki to claim the Tsugaru, the girl willing to give him misplaced sympathy.

miscommunication works both ways. The guy may have jumped the gun from a non-omnipotent view but at the same time his demeanor noticeably changed and the wife didn't care.

notice on Page 19 when she's making her excuse, she doesn't look like she's eager to do anything with the man behind her other than her blushing. It's possible that her cheating on him is involuntary and she's being blackmailed. This is why the sister mentioned that it's important to confront her about it, to communicate properly with it. However he's so distraught and overcome with guilt and confusion over it all that he ran for the sister instead. Both are equally at fault; as there might have been a chance he could have put an end to it but he ran away instead.

It’s not entirely the MC’s fault. Don’t try to blame all to him while the girl also didn’t even try to seek help at all or didn’t want to consult him. I would say they were both wrong but the girl was mainly at fault here. Let explain this.
She might not be blackmailed. But if she was blackmailed, she would do it voluntary, since on page 6 the girlfriend said “Don’t be so greedy” and kept doing it instead of denying despite she would be married with the MC soon, and who knew how long it had happened. If the MC didn’t accidently find out, she would definitely keep doing these things behind his back, even after her marriage. You know… We’re talking about artist Kiasa here.

Actually I thought the MC was the victim here, he was wrong too but it should be the one who cheating and keeping it secret from their partner first for what ever reasons. Wow so aparently people really dont like me commenting on NTR cus they nuked my comments on multiple stories including this one even though i clearly said i liked it but i geuss that just how the active NTR fan operates so ill just post something about my thoughts

The guys wife is totally screwed because very soon the husband will ditch her for the (at the moment) more receptive sister and when that happens she'll be out of a home and the emotional stability that she thought she'd always have (given how they looked at each other and the general idea of marriage). this will lead her to either A: refuse sex with the student which will result in her being blackmailed cus no way in hell is that guy gonna ditch a free piece of ass like that and he's definitely gonna have dirt given how much time they spent together so she basically becomes his slave or B: she crawls back to the student and gives herself completely over to him giving up on everything to become a willing meat toilet.

As for the guy i did virtually nothing wrong besides coming onto the sister but she accepted him implying she had some feeling for him before this so they settle that. It's a bad situation all around, but at the very least Fuji isn't oblivious to the fact Chiaki is both cheating and NTRing him. I like that the story seemed more focus on Fuji and Tsugaru getting closer, but it's still NTR so they aren't an actual couple. It fact, Fuji and Chiaki are still engaged and their Wedding Day is still going to happen even though neither prepared because they're too busy cheating on each other.

The worst part about NTR will always be the defenders because of the mental gymnastics they twist their brains into while trying to gaslight you into thinking you're the one that "has it all wrong" about these stories. They tend to unironically use the same logic as the rapist/NTRer in the stories. Maybe they really see a kindred spirit in those stories.

There's not "misinterpretation" of events in this story. Fuji caught Chiaki cheating on him. She's putting her duties of helping find a place to do her and Fuji's wedding because she's taking cock from some guy at her job. The phone call where Fuji hears her moaning and talking to that guy she's with is the first evidence. The marks on her neck the next day is evidence #2. No, it's not bug bites in close proximity and that large. It's like NTR defenders want you to be as oblivious as the cucks in the stories they beat off too. The third and most damning evidence is page 19 when you see the guy behind Chiaki as she's giving Fuji another excuse. Fuji isn't imagining this, it's really happening. The issue I have with Fuji is that he procrastinated talking about it with Chiaki. But it's an NTR, so there's flimsy reason to keep the NTR going instead of breaking off a ruined relationship before the last page when it doesn't matter anymore because the girl or guy is fully stolen. Even this story is still guilty of it, Fuji dropping his phone when it rings as he impregnates Tsugaru is more or less the same meaning as the guy or girl only ending the relationship after it's no longer meaningful.

People often portray this as a NTR vs Vanilla because NTR was made to basically subvert Vanilla. But NTR has become even more boring because it's a plot that's pre-packaged with the same tropes with no variation beyond which artist is doing it. And even within the same collection from an artist, their NTR stories are copy-paste. This is "variety of hentai/doujin plots vs one repetitive hentai/doujin plot." Some stories simply have NTR as an element of drama and conflict to be overcome like with Akinosora's "Let Your Smile Bloom." But those stories are a diamond in the rough and they're now old. It's overwhelmingly filled with things like this story and Kiasa's "Hinata NTRism."
