I purchased and downloaded this game, but does anyone know how to get it to work? I was using Chrome's built-in translator for the page where I purchased it from. To my understanding, I was supposed to download VJ012009.part1.exe and VJ012009.part2.rar and save the two in the same folder. I then run VJ012009.part1.exe, which prompts the extraction of both it and part2 into a separate folder. But, when it's done and I go into the folder to run the application file, I get some white text box error that I can't read because my computer converts the Japanese into other symbols.
I even tried saving the two compressed files to my Local Disk C: like it suggests in case of a decompression issue, and I still get this problem.
Anyone who have the game able to tell me what they did? I also purchased the volume before it, and I'm assuming I'm gonna have the same problems until I figure this out :/
@Kishun You should always try to download the free trails before you buy the full game even from the English sites.
What it sounds like is an issue with the encoder when it extracts the files (WinRAR always does this), I was having trouble with this with a good number of games, especially with rpgmaker ones, but I've recently found a fix. Not sure if you can open the .part1.exe with it, but using Bandi extractor and changing the encoding to japanese (theres a button on the top right) will allow you to extract it while keeping the proper text in tact and it *should* help, but I've never tried with this game, might try the trail from dlsite if I have a chance.
After checking another game by this group, since this specific series doesn't have a trail, the above solution might not be useable, though the problem should be the right one. It's just a matter of getting the program to use the right encoder when extracting/installing the game, just not sure on the specific solution here.
