Is the second of 3 Variable Geo novels, published by Wani Books. Based on the bishoujo fighting game of the same name.
Takahiro Kimura is the original designer and artist for the Variable Geo series since its inception in the early 90s. A veteran animator he has designed characters and directed animation for popular titles as Gundam, Code GEASS, Gaogaigar.

Takeru Midoriboshi has written other novels under the Wani Books brand like Street Figter 2 Saga, with illustrations by Urushihara Satoshi but, there is no more info about this author.

I scanned this book myself many years ago. I think this would be the perfect place to share it. I was trying to translate it but it proved to be too much for me.

This novel centers on the character of Satomi Yajima and her struggle to take care of herself, her brother and continues her studies. They are orphans so she has a part time job to sustain herself and has to stop her training for lack of time. A mysterious fire in her school makes her the target of suspicion and harassment. And a beautiful girl named Murota Namie, takes great interest on Satomi.
As the history unravels we learn more about Satomi's past how she gets involve in weird experiments sponsored by a mysterious organization.
