I've been dabbling in a little bit of translation recently, and this one came out right when I had some free time over the weekend. It's been a long time since I've done any graphical work, though, but I felt like being extra creative this weekend so I had fun marking up all these pages. Hope you all enjoy it!
@kami.ranma Thanks for the effort, it's nice to get things translated. Sometimes nobody wants to do it, and it just leaves them untranslated for all eternity. Some promising doujins have met that fate...
P.S. From personal experience, people don't seem to take kindly to messing with the dialog too much. I'd try to not leave out names or titles in the future...
@The Mastermid Thanks. I've attempted my own translation of most of Marushamo's stuff just for my own personal entertainment, even others that have been posted here already (though I felt no need to re-post them with a slightly different translation). I just had the creation bug for this one and some free time.
I know what you mean about messing with dialog, but still, I'd rather read something with a bit more character and flows a little more freely when it comes to stuff that's spoken. I'm not a professional writer or a translator, though, so whether I accomplish that or not is up to interpretation. As for names and titles, the boy is only ever identified as 〇〇 which is more or less a placeholder / censor for his name, and I figured that more people would want to read "you" than the English equivalent of "__" that I used a couple times. As for her, she's never directly named... and well, I guess I personally just prefer a more complete translation and would rather translate "onee-chan" as "big sister" than leave it as is. I know that "onii-chan" and "onee-chan" can have usages that are more complicated than simply "big brother" and "big sister", but in this context it seems that they are related, so I felt that "big sis" was fine. Others may differ in opinion, and that's okay with me. I hope they still enjoy the translation.
Sorry for the ramble, and thanks for the feedback!
@kami.ranma just asking but, wouldn't you be able to post the other translations of marushamo's works here as well? there's a bunch of stuff that absolutely deserves a translation, so yeah I wonder if you plan to post those doujin here
