Vingrok been playing Mortal Kombat.

That being said, if you want some tips on doing detailed gore, ripping flesh leaves a different type of umeven surface and texture instead of clean cut. Try ripping bread in half instead of cutting it and you notice the difference and while meat behaves a bit different, it looks quite the same but in different color when you cut or rip it. Used to work in a farm.

@pervM. Truly "ripping" flesh in 3D programs is not easy to achieve unless you invest a lot of time or you do it via postwork which also take a lot of time if you want it to look good. Not to mention a great deal of skill, which I admit I don't have.
