I originally assumed this came out around the time of Super Bomberman on the Super Nintendo, but there's an obvious parody of the TurboGrafx-16 (or PC Engine in Japan) on the very first page, and Wikipedia also states that the Super Nintendo and Super Famicon versions of Bomberman weren't released until 1993.

Should this be tagged a parody of Bomberman? Some of the single images are, but the first story only involves them playing the game.
