It's painful watching Stan's line work become shakier and scratchier, the more recently his material this book pulls from. His work has always focused on the ephemeral nature of life, and what could be more cruelly fleeting than an artist working so hard for their skill, only for their body to deny them the ability to make use of it?
To you, Sakai-san. If you continue to create, I'll continue to enjoy, no matter what comes.
