Does the reality of it matter, though? If it looks like a blindfold, maybe that's enough. I have a thing for maid uniforms, and it doesn't matter if it's just a dress or a cunning weave of anti-ballistic mesh or a hard-light holoprojection- a maid outfit's a maid outfit. Or maybe I'm a casual, and the REAL HARDCORE MAID FAPPERS™ wouldn't settle for anything less than an authentic Regency-era cotton outfit.
