The last page woefully underestimates how long May would be trapped for considering the rate of time dilation given. If a minute inside the ball is ten years outside, she's experiencing a year for every 6 seconds of real time. After a day, she will have been trapped for 14,400 years. Just a single year being trapped in that ball would equate to 5,256,000 years for May. And it's implied that she's somehow being kept alive through all of this, for decades of real time. That's hundreds of millions of years of total isolation and immobility, unable even to die.
