Welcome to the retro future fellow Cyberjunkers! I've always loved this genre and I can fully blame the 1982 movie Blade Runner for it. It spawned EVERY dark corporate future movie, book, anime, game there was. It tanked at the box office and was not until years later on VHS it started it's crawl upward from cult classic to now revered masterpiece. I first saw it on the ABC Sunday Night Movie in the early 80s when it first premiered on network television...which is all we had back then. I fell in love with the cinematography, the noir feel to the story, the cool as hell flying cars and awesome effects...which STILL hold up today.

But I digress...you hold in your hands...or your hard drives...the result of that love of cyberpunk noir I got so many years ago and now I've diluted it thru the lens of furry to something a bit more erotic. This world has no touch screens, no razor thin cell phones or any sense of the modern world we enjoy today. It's full of VGA monitors, chunky click clack buttons, smoking, violence, and sex run rampant. Enjoy!!

this... this only made me question 4 things
A: if we ever get to a point in the future where we can make living human-animal hybrids (which I think we can all agree will happen at some point) why would they be super sexy if their either cops or what I can only under stand is robotics experts?
B: why are all of them either robots or cyborgs? (I can get why some would choose to have robotic parts but again why make the robots super sexy if there not in porn?)
C: why are most (if not all) of them smoking?

my last question will be, will there be any comics on the matter? seriously theses guy are sexy as fuck and I would be very surprised if you didn't make some comics about this sort of thing.

Basically, is boils down to the old adage: what is the difference between Science and Mad Science?
The answer is: Science ask "Why?", Mad Science asks "Why not?"
Why are hypothetical transhuman cyborg cops should be made sexy? Why not?! We may as well make them pleasing to behold - at least for some people. For thouse who would frown upon thouse particular models, there are plenty more on the market with any appearance you would prefer to see.

B)
Cyberpunk as a genre (and posthumanism in general) usually doesn't see a principal difference between wetware and hardware. Why so many people choose to do tattoos, or piercing - or cut their hair, for the matter. In the posthuman future of traditional cyberpunk there are no difference between cutting your hair in new popular style, or installing new chrome (or "robotic parts" in ancient argo) set to show off for friends and/or potential partners/rivals. And again - if you can easely choose how you will look, why not indulge in your own fetishes and become stunningly hot. Yes, you won't be hot for everyone - but only thouse who do find it hot counts in the end.

C)

Seriously - because of Gideon.
Smoking is one of his main fetishes.
Also - neon noir is still noir, and so - smoking is mandatory.

D)
For that option you would need a metric fuckton of money, and a team of people with a very particular set of skills, skills they have acquired over a very long careers. They would need to non-consensually remove Gideon from the known world, put him into a very remote location, and... persuade him to do the job.
Or praying. Praying could work too.
Cutting hyperboles - no. With almost absolute certainty there will be not comic with thouse characters in foreseeable future - sans, mayhaps, some short CG sets, if Gideon would be properly motivated after the CP'77 release.
...One could hope.

B that sucks you got what could be a gold mine here and cant do much with it (unless of cause someone else's who likes the idea and uses it for a comic)
C I wont lie to you, I was surprised by how you answered my questions like that. what I mean by that is I thought this was something the artist was doing as hobby but after reading your response all you've done is given me more questions, no longer about the artist but more about you spherically.

so here's my last question for you. based on what I know about how comics are made and based on your response, this group your part a proper comic creating company? (and by that I mean do you have artist's that create images or comics biased on story's and characters and all that jazz, then sell them to different places which are sold to customers and a portion of that money goes to the artist's while your bosses get the rest, and in turn you get said money thought a pay check)

Alas, no. I'm just relatively familiar with the process in general, and Gideon (and his attitude) in particular. Besides, he burned himself somewhat on his last big project (Lands of Luste), which was not all that commercially successful in proportion to the amount of work needed for its completion. So he if focusing on more simple stuff: singleton pin-ups and short CG sets in particular theme. At least for now, and as far as I know without asking him directly.

As for the (C) - well, Gideon is doing this is a hobby. It's just so happens that this particular folio is themed around a classic CyberPunk, which is particularly pleasing for me personally.
And as for "about me" - spoilers, dear >^_^<
