From the mouth of the artist: Howdy ya'll! If not for a day trip to Atlantic City, this folio would never have happened! It was while driving by the large hotels and resort casinos scraping the Atlantic City sky that it just hit me. What if one of these resorts hired macros to entertain the guests. They'd perfom and be attractions to pull in guests. That image stuck with me and when it came time to decide what species to use...otters was what came to mind first. Playful, cute, mischeiveous...how would they NOT be fun to see? The idea of making them twin brothers then slipped in, adding a bit of taboo.
I want to give a special thanks to Solidasp (Visit his DeviantArt and FurAffinity accounts!). His original sketch and inspiration on the cover and art direction on the "Floatin" pic were a huge help to this folio. I knew I wanted a 30's art deco motif for the cover. The old travel posters and such were a huge inspiration. Both images are included here in the Cover & Roughs Gallery. Thanks dude!
Well, I do hope you enjoy your stay here at the Twin Otters Resort. This was probably the hardest and fastest I've worked on a folio with work I am very proud of. Thanks and take care! And...if you enjoyed this folio, come check out my website for more crazy furry goodness at the link below!

Their story: Born normal sized, early life for these two was not all that different than most brothers. Vista and Vue formed a very close bond that most twins share. The twins were very protective of one another, rarely apart. School, work, play, they stayed by each other's side. Upon puberty, when most there age were undergoing the usual growth spurts of a few inches...theirs were measured in feet. Growth spurts of a foot a day at times made life for the two very difficult. Curiosity, ridicule, and all forms of emotions came from their classmates and community. But the boys kept one thing solid in those trying years, their bond for each other. That bond became stronger as they found solace and comfort in one another's arms. Whenever difficulty arose, they always had each other to turn to. As they matured and blossomed, the only ones that could satiate their urges and desires were each other.
Years passed as the two wandered, getting odd jobs where they could. Walking billboards, construction and demolition, window washers, sightseeing tour guides, circus freaks, you name it, they did it. Until one year while visiting Atlantic City, NJ as they walked the boardwalk, they noticed the crowds they were getting. This time though they were smiling, taking pictures, not laughing. An entrepreneuring hotel manager hired the two to give bungee jumping rides. Soon after they became a hit with tourists and locals alike. Area businesses boomed as people came from far and wide to see the twins. Seeing their popularity grow, it was decided Vista and Vue had outgrown even the boardwalk. A small island was purchase and construction of Twin Otters Resort was soon underway.
Once completed and the doors opened, the stream of guests has not stopped for these two. A once uncertain and unsure future was now bright and golden. Guests upon arrival are always greeted by walking under the "ebon pillars" of the two otters. Check-in is also made more spectacular as the two titans sashay their way through the open breezeway where all rooms have a great view. After guests have made themselves at home, they are invited to join the boys for a swim in the sparkling azure waters of Comfort Cove. From there the two will enjoy a light lunch of several tons of giant tuna sushi prepared by some of the strongest sushi chefs in the world. With full bellies the two will work ‘em off with some beachside fun and games depending on their moods. Capping off the afternoon's festivities will be the signature event of their "Twin Love Fountain". This is an event where all guests are encouraged to take part and share the "love" so to speak.
Both Vista and Vue will need a healthy nap afterwards to save their strength for the evening's intimate events. Guests will have a seven course dinner of some of he finest seafood and wine available. After a rich and filling meal, guests can retire to the seaside lounge facing the ocean as the twins perform one last time for the day in front of a setting sun. Truly unforgettable. Once they have freshened up and dressed in their island finery they will bid the guests adieu before heading off to their secluded, private side of the island. We hope you enjoy your stay here and leave for home with the warmest of memories and fondest of times with these two delightful giants, Vista and Vue.
