The title portion of the cover is supposed to be metallic gold, but that didn't work out when I scanned it.

This volume is set the night before the party enters the Interdimensional Rift. Which means Tycoon is gone, so Bartz fears the worst when he sees Lenna standing on a cliff. The two have a heart-to-heart, which ends in them mutually comforting each other over their insecurities. Then Bartz promises Lenna that they'll go on a journey together when the final battle is over, which goes about as well for him as you'd expect. At least he got to sleep with his whole party.

More seriously, the party didn't realize that once they beat Exdeath all of the places lost to the Void would come back, so Bartz and Lenna made that promise thinking she was free from her position. When Bartz sees that Tycoon has been restored, he (I think) loses the necessary will to live needed to exit the Void in the ending.

The next volume should be the last one. Takatora intends to have it done by Twinkle Mirage 13 (2/16), but if you're impatient there was a preview version released at C97.
