Also surprised at how non violent this was. But what I don't get is why did they have to replace her body with silicon? Couldn't they just have taken her memories/personality and just made a silicon copy? They even stated her remaining body was hollow inside and they just filled it with mechanical equipment. In the future years of 20XX could they not have just made a replica synthetic body? It wouldn't even be more money. I mean shit I can go online and buy a realdoll for like 800 bucks. If the process of conserving her memories and personality would be done while she and the machine are connected and both conscious and the memories are deleted the same time they're rewritten, then she theoretically wouldn't notice it and it would be herself. The brain also just saves data and rewrites it, you're never the same person the next morning. So if the cyber brain works like a human brain it should be possible.
