@ Addelheim some people prefer the large size for doing translations or just they like to read the work with high resolution, plus it's easier to do a high res scan and reduce it than to do a low res scan only to later need a high res scan and have to scan it again.

I prefer large size when sufficient details/quality are retained. if you want smaller file, you can download and reduce yourself too
