Here's my... Uhh... Decent attempt at actually scanning a book. I physically own this book (I bought it last C97) and since nobody uploaded it yet so... There you go.
Here's my scanner: HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 Series
The presets that I used in the app that comes with it are the following:
For colored pages: Resolution: 600 DPI Compression: Medium
For B&W pages: Resolution: 300 DPI Compression: Medium
(Doing higher than those makes the scanning process even more tedious but produce unnoticeable quality difference.)
I "fixed" the scans by cropping and adjusting the angle to make it look somewhat presentable.
What I noticed is that there's some kind of noise in the black parts of the B&W pages. Making it looked "unbalanced"... But I believe it can be fixed easily by leveling and pouring a black paint bucket on it.
