How is this netorare? the husband from what I see planned on his wife cheating so he could leave her for another woman. That while counting as cheating doesn't count for NTR.

I find it odd that there are people only now bringing up "tag definitions" When there are currently countless galleries now tagged with the netorare tag when they don't match the criteria at all... The common forms NTR are when when the partners are taken from their partner unwillingly, willingly, or with the protagonist's consent for the purpose of sexual self satisfaction. This scenario matches the 3rd description very loosely.

I find it extremely irritating that the tag is being abused by idiots who can't tell the difference between cheating and NTR, and I wish the mods would stop fucking around and add the specific NTR tags. We have tags for all sorts of specific and unusual things but can't have specific tags for NTR? I'm sure this has been discussed in the forums but just like the genre, it seems the biggest asshole won in the end...

I still think the site should adopt the VNDB tags for netorare/adultery. There's Type A, B, and C netorare and there's also netorase and netori. I'd tag this under netorase. IIRC type C is the equivalent to the 'cheating' tag. Willful adultery. That's also a tag people mistag a bunch. It's not cheating if the heroine is being raped, if it's unwilling.

I will say though, I'd consider this netorare because technically netorase is netorare but just in another form. Affirming the consequent; all X are Y, but not all Y are X. For example, coprophagia is a derivative of the scat fetish and requires scat to be tagged. They have a specific tag for shit eating, but they gallery still has to have the shit tag. In VNDB, they do tag have to tag netorare if netorase is tagged, same for types A, B, and C.

But eh, semantics. In the end, we still need them specific adultery tags.
