Pretty much every hentai story just follows the same old tired formula. The moment you see the tags and the first 2 pages, you can already predict the entire thing, in most cases. Kind of sad, the industry has basically become a fast food chain, rather than a restaurant with variety and quality. I'd get it if it was just the art style, but is it so difficult to write something that slightly deviates from the formula, something that tries to do something new? I guess most people rather aim for safe modest money than risking it on a gamble...

I don't disapprove of cultural localization on the face of it. Sometimes it's necessary to rewrite because a direct translation won't carry the same feeling of the original language into the new one, even if the end result is completely inaccurate. But this particular example is like changing 「ZA WARUDO」 to "time stop".

@danielwain: There are hentai that don't just repeat the same formula. But check how many releases are there per day on this site alone. You can't really expect every single one of them to come up with a new unique story.
So it makes more sense to praise the ones that manage to surprise you, instead of criticizing the ones that don't.
