A translation of this chapter already exists and I plan on translating the rest of this series but wanted your opinion on if I should continue translating the SFX or leave them in Japanese

I think SFX doesn't need to be fully translated.

Please do translate. This series has been around for awhile and we have no translation beyond a couple chapters. Unless there is an official English translation that I am not aware of.

Thanks for picking this up! Sound effects are nice but totally optional. If it's significantly slowing you down just skip them.

I've had my eye on this and am really looking forward to some of the later chapters if you keep this up.

recommendation is to not do sfx at all, but if you do, only translate the ones with direct english translations to onomonopoeias like bzz, woosh, boing. typesetting verbs increases cognitive load when reading and detracts from the hentai experience

I agree with Bfodler, but only for specific stuff. "Lick" was a little too much and didn't let you figure out what was going on yourself, but "Shine" made it much more kawaii, imo. It's on a case by case basis.
