Scurry is the story of a colony of mice in an abandoned house who are struggling to survive a long, strange winter. The humans are all gone and the sun is rarely seen. As food becomes scarce and many mice fall ill, the scavengers are forced to search farther from their home, braving monster infested lands in search of anything that will help the colony survive another day. This comic gives me the feeling of a couple things. Redwall, Secret of Nym, and Watership Down. I almost wish it was animated but I like the voices I've given the characters in my head. I kinda wish it was updated faster but I believe if that happened the quality would drop.

And considering this is probably a nuclear winter, I can only see this story getting more and more depressing, but I will read and hope it doesn't get too dark.

It's ... it's done? Holy shit. I remember when this was first posted. I admired it for its incredible artwork and thought that the artist would never be able to have the energy to keep it up and that this would remain in limbo as one of those "ongoing" series that never gets updated again after like 12 pages or more. Color me surprised that it's actually finished years later. And what a finish! 293 pages of gorgeous illustrations and an amazing story to go with that. You can't do better than this, fellas. This is where it's at. It's a shame the rating doesn't go beyond 5 stars.
