As someone who fools around occasionally with pixel art it's tough stuff to make look decent and whoever made these is definitely putitng some decent amount of time into these.

Not sure how I really feel about them personally, just because the original game had such an impact on me and the pixel art makes it a little close to home. But I still appreciate the work put into it.
