@Der Hunter: to be short, they have divorced and he had the custody of their daughter. But his ex-wife (who had some serious mental troubles, he said) kidnapped her and if things have ended well for him and their child, he was in a too bad mood for continuing the original manga. Hence the abrupt end for TLR and the following hiatus until TLR Darkness began.
