Jack Edward Jackson (b. May 15, 1941 – d. June 8, 2006), better known in comics circles as Jaxon, was an American cartoonist. He was active in underground comix and was considered the originator of the genre with his 1964 work, 'God Nose'. He was a co-founder of Rip Off Press. The magazine featured other famed artists such as Robert Crumb ('Fritz the Cat') and SS Crompton ('Demi the Demoness').
